What is GCF?

Grizzly Christian Fellowship is an ASUM student group at the University of Montana.

It’s our goal to create a campus community which cares for each other and helps others to see the significance and centrality of the gospel in every area of their life. We want young adults to grow in their understanding of Jesus and their love for one another so that they might find their purpose in life as a disciple of Christ.

GCF is much more than any single event. We are a community of believers and students interested in learning more about the gospel. We offer lots of social events, retreats, conferences and activities but at the center of all we do lies these six emphases: discipleship, evangelism, teaching, campus community, leadership, and the local church.

Core Values

  • Discipleship
Applying the gospel to all of life in small group settings
  • Evangelism
Sharing the good news of the gospel
  • Teaching
Learning biblical truths for a gospel-worldview
  • Campus Community
A community united by the gospel of Jesus
  • Leadership
Raising gospel-centered leaders for the church and our culture
  • Local Church
Belonging to and serving the local church in our college years

Our Church

Not only are we part of the community at the University of Montana, but we are also part of the community at a local church in Missoula.

We gather weekly to worship at Sovereign Hope Church. This allows us to establish relationships with people who are in different stages of life, and equips us for life as part of Jesus’ church post college.
